Steelers Community Relations Calendar

The Pittsburgh Steelers are proud to be a part of the western Pennsylvania community and to be involved in numerous charitable events. Throughout the year the Steelers host community events, as well has have players participate and host events for their specific charities. For the current calendar of events click on the link.

	Ladies come out in full force to support Steelers A record number of women attended the Steelers annual Ladies Night Out at Heinz Field.

	A scary night for a good cause It was not a night for the faint of heart at the third annual Steelers Fright Night at the Hundred Acres Manor Haunted House in Pittsburgh’s South Park.

	Keeping kids warm during the winter months Winter is just around the corner and thanks to the efforts of the Steelers and Salvation Army, some young kids will be keeping warm on bitter cold days.

	Ward heads back to school Wide receiver Hines Ward headed to Freedom Area Middle School as a part of the "NFL's Take a Player to School" program.

	Making a difference in their lives Wide receiver Hines Ward hosted eight bi-racial children from Korea for a weekend in Pittsburgh, topped off by the group attending the Steelers-Vikings game.

	Mendenhall's big numbers help Safe Kids Running back Rashard Mendenhall's performance against the Chargers a few weeks ago helped Safe Kids Allegheny County.

	Woodley honored by Boys & Girls Club Linebacker LaMarr Woodley received the “Dedication to Youth Award,” a national award given by the Boys & Girls Club.

	Keisel lends a hand for homeless youth Defensive end Brett Keisel has long been involved with charities for homeless youth and was happy to welcome another individual to Pittsburgh who has the same mission.

	Miller helps in the fight against breast cancer Throughout the month of October the Steelers have shown a commitment to the fight against breast cancer and that continued when Heath and Katie Miller hosted Bid for Hope VIII.

	Steelers alumni weekend a 'family reunion' The Steelers celebrated their strong tradition during alumni weekend, which included Taste of the Steelers and former players serving as honorary co-captains for the Browns game.
